BA (Hons), APFS Chartered Financial Planner
Associate | Independent Financial Adviser
Scott joined MHA Caves Wealth in 2018, having previously worked for a boutique IFA. Prior to such, Scott graduated from the University of Northampton in 2015 with a First Class degree in Economics. He has since achieved the Chartered Financial Planning status, which is regarded as the pinnacle qualification within the industry. Scott also holds the Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management and the Certificate in Long-Term Care.
Scott advises a wide range of clients across investments, pensions, inheritance tax mitigation and protection arrangements. He also has relevant experience advising Attorneys and Deputy’s on long-term care fee planning, including the use of Immediate Needs Annuities, and has built up good relationships with solicitors in the Northamptonshire area.
When not advising clients, you can find Scott on the golf course or up a rock-climbing wall. He is an avid Arsenal football club fan and may also be found cheering on the Northampton Saints rugby team. Scott also helps raise money for charity where he can, having previously trekked the Great Wall of China, ran 50 miles in 50 days and helped plan and host a summer ball with his family to raise money for Parkinson’s UK and MacMillan. Scott hopes to become an ambassador for ‘Crohn’s and Colitis UK’ in the future, a condition that he suffers from, and would also like to provide free financial education workshops for schools and colleges.
