Roy joined the MHA Caves Wealth team in 2022 and has worked in the Financial Services industry as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) for over 25 years. Prior to that he worked for major insurance companies in their direct advice teams, starting in the financial services industry in 1988.
Roy holds the Diploma in Financial Advice as well as qualifications in Long Term Care, and Retirement Income planning.
As an IFA, his time has been spent working with professional introducers such as Accountants. Since 2008, he has worked with MHA MacIntyre Hudson, providing advice best suited to their mutual clients, including individuals, Corporates and Trusts, with wide ranging financial planning needs.
Roy can assist clients with financial advice covering pensions, retirement income planning, investments, personal and business protection, Inheritance tax mitigation and Long-Term Care funding. He believes that developing a long-term relationship with his clients ensures the very best financial planning outcomes can be achieved.
When not advising clients, Roy and his wife are Senior Ballroom & Latin American dancers and compete around the UK regularly throughout the year. He is also a keen golfer and holds a 2nd Dan blackbelt in Karate. Roy and his wife also like to travel, with a particular love of The Lake District.
